In autumn 2013, Chinese President XiJinping proposed the Belt and RoadInitiative (BRI). With the actualisation of theBRl, not only have new drivers for globaleconomic growth been created, but thescope for strengthening economic andcultural exchanges and co-operationbetween China and its BRI partnercountries has also broadened. Within theBRl. the medical and health industry is animportant field with a great potential forinternational co-operation.
